People-centred Design Approach

At Signoia, people are at the centre of everything we do. Individuals, groups, or communities, are inherently at the centre of our design focus.

Everything revolves around the people that will occupy the space, understanding their needs, core values, and objectives about their motivations and desires. Our wayfinding, signage, and branded environments engage the psychology, spark memories, tap emotions and allow conversations.

We have a strategic approach to every project, creating places for people to linger, guiding them to new directions, and facilitating shared experiences. Design is more than just an aesthetic overlay. We go beyond making environmental elements just aesthetically better by expressing the essence of a place. The infusion of design profoundly connects the space to the people inhabiting and visiting.

Designers of experiential environments have a broad palette to work with—identity, typography, symbols, materials, colours, wayfinding, public art, and more. For example, all the elements collaboratively root the environment in its place to build a meaningful, subconscious, and immersive experience that resonates more deeply than words.
